Description
Cross Yoke Magnet NR 01 is used for contactless and for magnetization by placing upon the surface of the test specimen. The yoke is supplied by two equal AC currents at 90 degree phase shift. Thus, a rotating magnetization vector is created, whose field strength is equal in all directions. With this technology surface defects can be detected independently from their offset direction during one inspection step. Therefore, the cross yoke is particularly suitable for testing pipe ends, gears and cylindric test specimens.
Cross yoke NR 01 is fully sealed and designed according to IP 54 protection. Holding systems can be manufactured acc. to customer request.
